Monday March 30, 2009

Grade 3AB : Observation,check & evaluate students term 3 instrument assessment result.
Grade 4B : Observation,check & evaluate students term 3 instrument assessment result.
Grade 5AD : Observation,check & evaluate students term 3 instrument assessment result.
Grade 7B : Learn about pentatonic scale ( 1 2 3 5 6 & 1 3 4 5 7 ).

Grade 7D : Posture & position still a problem with these class
Grade 9AB : Jennifer & Jessica need extra attention during a class.
Grade 10E : Simple - Harder major scale is their home work.
To separate who's students need special supervise.

Grade 3E : Observation,check & evaluate students Term 3 instrument Assessment result.
All grade 3 home work is scale one octave starting on A string.
Grade 4C : Observation,check & evaluate students Term 3 instrument Assessment result.
Most of grade 4 students also need to learn major scale in one octave
Grade 7C : Just a few students showed good progress in violin skills.

Grade 10BD : Simple- harder major scale is their home work & separate
who's needs special supervising.
Grade 7A : Just a few students showed good improve in violin skills. These term all of them concentrate to their playing position posture and major scale on A in one octave.
Grade 7B : Individual interaction activity related of Pentatonic scale. These afternoon I gave the exercises questions and motivated them to answer my questions by simple kind solutions in counted 5.
Grade 10E : To motivated all Grade 10E students how to make a group
with simple kind and choose a simple song.

Week 5 ; April 27- May 1, 2009

Monday April 27, 2009
Grade 4B :
Individual instrument assessment. Tiffani played well today. Kathreen played good
& clean tone quality but she still need to control her right hand position.
Kevin & Merill need more attention & support to learn/practice regular at home.

Grade 3AB :
Grace needs more focus during class time & today she got warning,because she always
maked trouble in class. Grant also got because he lied, to
Ms. Melvina as a teacher assessor. He played a same song with the assessment song on term 3.

Grade 5D : No class - students were gone for Field Trip to the Ragunan Zoo Jakarta.

Grade 5A :
Derian,Eun Ju,Ananda, Frederica not came today because they have to prepared
their PYP Exhibition with Mr. Kevin
Only two students came & took the Assessment today. Nigel played excellent,
Jennifer need to re-test of instrument next week with other students ( Frederica,
Ananda An-Nur Wibowo, Derian, Eun Joo )

Grade 7B :
Learning about contents of Chord. Students home work today is;
To change of chord from C Major -Natural, II-IV-VI-VII to G Major scale.
Ryan,Melvin,Angga,Kevin,Diandre,Hanif & So are need to complete & send their
homework (term 3 reflection ).

Grade 9AB :
Announced students of instrument individual assessment score result.
Helped Grade 9AB violin student how to put a Chord to their own melody.

Grade 7D :
All 7D violin students were still need much time to practice their homework at home.
Gave special warning to Reynard, related to his uniform and his habbit.
Beny & Ije needs more extra time to practice.

Grade 10E : Discussed with my group jazz students about a new song and told them what the consequences if their still want to play that song.

Grade 4D : William played very well today and he finished his homework today.

Grade 5D :
Andrea,Alicia & Bella's are under my supervised students, related to their music
violin skills home work. Three of them never prepare time to train their home work. Suzuki book 1 no. 3 still their home work until these term, because always unprepared every
week.

Grade 3E :
All 3E students performed today by individual with A major & one Song from Suzuki Violin Book. Calvin, Arka, Brandan still need to practice regularly at home. Tania and Russel played well today and their moved to new number song.

Grade 4C : No class. All Grade 4 students were gone for field trip to Taman Mini.
Grade 7C : For violin instrument class, most of Grade 7C students had good progress on skills.
Just Christian who's need attention by my self, related to his uniform (whole school rules) and to motivate him how to build a fighting spirit in his life.

Grade 3C : All Grade 3C violin students are new learner in violin. That's why I'm still focused to
teach them about position, posture & gave them a simple short song. Played violin without under pressed, but we made them fun and serious. ome ofstudents ; Oliver & Aleta always been my object supervised every week, because their never finished their homework.

Thursday April 23, 2009
Grade 10BD : Today all jazz group rehearsal performed in front of others group. 30 minutes their time to prepared in each room before. Grade 10BD had 4 group presentation with each individual major instrument ( Piano,Guitar,Vocal & Violin). We have 2 groups will
take a time for the Assessment on next Thursday. My special suggestion to Lademas,Ikhsan,Giovano for next week are going to change back to their major violin instrument, because these morning their played difference instrument during the presentation performed.
Grade 7A : Helped students to put Chord on their own melody creation.
Grade 7B : Explained for the 2nd time about C Major scale and how to translate/transpose
to other scale major. Individual reflection homework marked,and gave special warning
to who hasn't homework done. Christopher So need to complete his homework until next
week without any reason. Cindy,Helena,Aldo,Hanif,Nadira,Diandre,Steven,So,Florencia,Melissa needs more extra time to learning scale major and music notation. The reason why I gave the extra time to these student because most of them are new in Binus and these a first time to learn about Scale and Chord.
Grade 10E : Bian,Felix,Rifky are late came to the class in session 7. William,Arnold,Narda,Tedja,Juandra,Bian,Dika,Renatsya,Gamma,Andrew,Felix are late came to their session 8 in music class.
Today all jazz group rehearsal performed in front of others group. Grade 10E had 4 group presentation with each individual major instrument like other class(10BD). All violin student ( Nandra,Arnold,Olivia,Kendrik,Tedja Wisesa) played well and can follow the rule of music jazz performance.

Grade 10BD : Same activity with yesterday but Lademas,Ikhsan,Gio are still need to practice
at home. They didn't played well today.
Grade 3D : All students showed good performance and my special instruction to all of them are wrote on student diary about their homework. Esspecially for one of them, his name is Dave still need much time to practice with his simple song at home.
Grade 4A : All students played well & next week ready to fight the individual instrument assessment
time.

Grade 7A : Marking students homework - finale music notation hardcopy & softcopy.
Grade 7B : Just 1 student who doesn't completed the homework ( Aldo).
All of students wrote their term3 reflection homework on journal, & the due date
is 27 April 2009.
Grade 10E : Checked & marking their homework.
Students practice with each superviser teacher in each studio room for jazz song
assessment preperadness. Need to complete term 3 reflection on due date 30 April 2009.

Friday April 24, 2009
Grade 5C : Individual performance assessment & signiture on student diary about their
new song homework.
Grade 5E : Individual performance assessment.
Grade 10BD : Performing group reherseal with jazz repertoire.
Grade 3D & 4A : Today grade 4A just got the assessment A major scale 1 octave.
Their wrote on the student diary about the song & will take assessment
on 1 May 2009.
Grade 3D evaluation score result of the instrument test.
Gave change & time to Dave to practice at home because he is absent a week
ago.

1-one song number from Suzuki Violin/Cello Book.
Grade 7B Theory: Translated their own melody from natural scale to G Major & complete lyrics with simple content.
