My Music Journal Term 4 Week 8 (18-21 May 2009)

Monday May 18
Grade 4B : Merril, Kevin and Su Woong came today without their music instrument. Special for Merril, he need to focus and arrange his time to learn more about his violin home work, even his music theory home work.
Grade 3A: Amanda didn't practice her home work at home just like her said. She needs more attention from her parents to guiding her to get a good assessment result or to motivate how to make better. Jason will be take a challanges of the individual instrument assessment next week. Grant and Grace are need more supervising of their teacher where of these students stand. Both of them always made trouble and talk to much without excuse from their teacher. Today I gave 1 (one) warning to them because of these.
Grade 5D : I got the informations from Melvina is Grade 5D were no music class today because some of them had other special program in somewhere out of Binus area. Also she told me if Ms. Annabelle, if they want these music class time schedule will used to learn about something importnt think in their class.
Grade 5A : No class today, some of students had field trip for PYP Exhibitions activity, and some of them also had the activity in their class room.
Grade 9AB : These morning we are focus and concentrate around scale content area. Learnig how to put notation to music staf five lines with correct place and sound. For vocal students we made a simple approach how to read a notation with singing application.
Grade 7B : Marking and checked students home work and asked them personally what area in music theory confused them. Learning about Enharmonic Tone and individual direct questions.
Grade 3B : Teachers are checked and evaluation students performed score and find the solution what they have to do if they want good score result in any assessment.


Tesday May 19
Grade 7D : Theory of music concern to Enharmonic System and Music Notations details explanations by Mr. Hary, Mr. John & Mr. Sadrakh. All 7D students individually played their own song melody in front of their friends. To completed the reflection about the material of music today like usually in Learning Journal.
Grade 9AB : These morning 9AB performed rehearsal of their own melody in front of friends. They take time of the rehearsal today because they don't have time to try yesterday. So, in 40 minutes they played individual and supervised by teacher.
Grade 10E : Teachers evaluated about students group assessment performed these morning.
Grade 4D : Time of individual instrument assessment and gave score to each students. Most of violin students are played well. Enza still need more practice and more tight discipline to complete home work. Suzuki Violin Book 1 no. 4-13 is song home work area's of students are need to focused.
Grade 5B : Marking & checked students instrument home work.

Wednesday May 20
Grade 3E : Individual home work checked and played song. Vania, Dani, Russel played Ode To Joy song to prepare next performing in Graduation Day June 10,2009. Other students still had problem with their music applications skills and they can't play well. To motivated them with a simple kind by recommendation a few students from these class to join BINUS SIMPRUG String Ensemble. Proudly, Inspire one Another to got Achiever is my basic motivation to all students in strings class.
Grade 4C : Always remainded about playing posture or position during play the song. Gave accelerate technic and finger exercises is our methode to developed their skills each personal.
Grade 7C : Preparation of students own melody in front of rheir friends. most of violin students looking well and we hope they will showing better next time in Students Term Test.
Grade 3C : Students prepared and took their individual perform assessment with each song.

Thursday May 21
Grade 10BD : HOLIDAY ........

Friday May 15
Grade 5C & 5E : No class today, students prepared for PYP Exhibitions activity.
Grade 10BD : Evaluation of students assessment performance and motivated them how to be confidence when their face to other people.
Grade 3D : Exercises and gave them a new homework song from Violin Book. Checked students progress by individual performed in front of teacher. To correction about posture and playing position.
Grade 4A : Students schedule of the individual playing instrument assessment in Music Main Room by Ms. Melvina.
